What happens to what you send.
Short version: the contact form exists so one person can reply to you. It is not a lead capture funnel.

Who is responsible
Data Outfit is the independent practice of Alex Silva. He is the only person who reads what you send. There is no sales team and no CRM behind this form.
What the contact form collects
Your name, work email, company, a description of the problem, and an optional timeline. That is all the form asks for and all it stores.
The form also records the moment the page loaded and includes a hidden field that must stay empty. Both are used only to reject automated spam, and neither is retained after the message is delivered.
Why it is processed
To reply to your inquiry and decide whether the work is a fit. Under GDPR this is processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries.
Your details are never added to a mailing list, sold, or shared with a third party for marketing.
Where it goes
Submissions are delivered by email through Resend and land in a private inbox. The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request logs.
When analytics are enabled, PostHog records aggregate page and click events. When error monitoring is enabled, Sentry records technical error reports. Neither is used to build an advertising profile.
How long it is kept
Inquiry emails are kept while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward as a business record. If we work together, project correspondence is retained for the length of the engagement and any contractual record-keeping period. You can ask for deletion at any time.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, UK, or a comparable jurisdiction, you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, or a copy of it, and you can object to processing. Requests are handled promptly and at no cost.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Client confidentiality
Separate from this notice: client work is confidential by default. Engagements are covered by a mutual NDA, and no client is named on this site without written permission.
Making a request
Use the contact form or message Alex on LinkedIn, and say what you want accessed, corrected, or deleted.
